Air FiltersADDING HORSEPOWER
air filters feature High-Flow Technology to help your car breathe easier, giving you the power you crave without the reliability headache often associated with high performance parts. Your car's engine is essentially a giant air pump, combusting a mixture of fuel and air with a carefully timed spark. The more air the engine has available, the more horsepower it can make. An engine that breathes more easily will also show improvements in throttle response. Throttle response is measured by the amount of delay or hesitation that your car exhibits between when you press down on the gas pedal and when the engine responds by delivering power. Improvements in throttle response give you more "pep" in your car's acceleration.

got increase da horsepower meh i thought just more noisy only haha bro, who told u that? like wat john & sum said, it reali depends on the existing mod under ur hood. the increase of tourque n hp is combination of all with the amount of air flow supply to the TB / engine.

KNN brand is always on top of the car modders' mind. so far, i've been hearing good responds from the user. but at the end of the day, it's ourself who rate it and decide which brand is the best ;D im using Simota and no complain so far. . .

relating to this, does anyone knows where can I find the heatshield cover as shown below? well, i dun remember i see any of this in RF. Brand doesnt matter...if u do know, pls let me know. im currently using the SIMOTA heatshield plat, which i think not good enuff to block the hot air from the filter head.

the heat shield is useless man... my air filter is open port but i dont have heat shield theoritically, the heatshield will prevent the air filter to induce hot air produce from the engine area. ..especially for open port filter whereby the filter exposing to near the engine area. Heat shiled insures cold air temperature. attached dyno reading for ur reference...note that the hp increase depending on ur current mod...not applies to all. btw, it is optional, no harm trying. im currently using the plat head...looking for bigger heat shield box now.. ;D
