yelah, i like Jonathan's comment.... unless my car is faster than Ricky's car haha. actually, i dun go for high speed cornering... so a normal yet comfy semi bucket seat will do for me.
by the way, has anyone go to Hobby seat shop before? d@mn, the price of their seat is on par with sscus seat...somemore I learnt that they actually recycle stock seat and convert it to semi bucket seat. has anyone heard of it? Yet, they sell it at RM1.2K and above ...thats the cheapest I can find there. so expensive nia, it's just a seat LOL. If my seat cushion still in good condition, i wouldnt look for 1 ...but now no choice di...im like sitting on a piece of wood.
thanks for the comment guys.

blackjack arh... actually besides normal commuting... do you plan to use the seats for anything else? spirited driving, occasional trackdays perhaps? that will really narrow down your choices a lot you know...
for instance, you might need the higher thigh support cushions if you plan for more sideways action.. or track... broader shoulder support if your body size is big and/or deeper shell if you plan to snug-fit into the seat for more support when negotiation turns...
of course semi or bucket seats are most well complimented with 4-point harnesses whereby you're properly strapped in... ;D
IMHO, i think the star series would be better.. the design ciplak from Bride.. so yeah... my vote for that... fyi, i'm using a full bucket for everyday usage.. and i don't really find it a pain in the bum... ;D

bro damionc, ur advise is really useful. now i can really narrow down my choice. actually i like cornering action ;D (not saying that my car very fast okie)....with my stock seat, most of the time, i almost felt like thrown our fro the car when i make fast turning.
i consider myself as big size la.. 180cm with kinda broad shoulder .. so do you think Star suits well to my needs? I've tried Star seat before, it's my 1st choice. E8 is little stiff on the shoulder part but really hold on to my body.

ok since you have shortlisted to 2 choices.... take a test in both seats.... you said the E8 was a little bit stiff on the shoulder and gives you more hold... can your back properly recline into the seat? do you need to hunch your shoulders forward? if yes, then i might advise you to stay away from it... imagine if you're driving for a few hours and your keep your hunched like that... tired weih... lol...
